Per MMA fighting, Phoenix Police officials confirmed that Phoenix Police Fugitive Apprehension Detectives arrested Kenney.

Interestingly, it was not the first time Kenney was accused of such demeaning things. In one instance, former UFC fighter Megan Anderson confronted him for passing degrading comments on her. These backlashes on Kenney have hampered his image in the community once. However, following his recent arrest news, UFC reportedly removed the bantamweight from the promotion.

Report: UFC releases Casey Kenney following his arrest

Casey Kenney made his UFC debut in 2019. Before making his way to the UFC octagon, Kenney had a successful run at the LFA. However, his UFC career has been full of highs and lows. The American bantamweight fighter has five wins and three losses in his eight official fights.

Kenney’s most recent fight was in August 2021, where he fought Song Yadong at UFC 265. Following that fight, he did not fight inside the octagon and remained relatively out of the public image. However, his recent antics have garnered everyone’s attention. As such, the UFC even released Kenney from the roster.

Popular MMA journalist Damon Martin first reported it and then later confirmed by UFC Roster Tracker’s X handle. There is no official confirmation from either UFC or Kenney’s team at this time. So far, most of the UFC fighters have remained quiet regarding the assault allegation and arrest of Casey Kenney.
