David and Rebecca Muir’s rumored wedding

The internet serves as an incredible platform for exploring the lives of well-known individuals. However, it is susceptible to misleading information when proper research is not conducted. An example of this is the misconception that David and Rebecca Muir are a married couple when in reality, they are siblings.

The internet is flooded with curious inquiries about celebrities, and there is a genuine interest in understanding the personal lives of both David and Rebecca. Given their success, people are keen to delve deeper into their stories.

Even though there are articles claiming the two to be married while also giving a whole background story to their relationship, in reality, David is Rebecca’s younger brother.

While David has been rumored to be romantically involved with several individuals, he has not publicly confirmed any of these relationships. As of 2023, the journalist is unmarried and doesn’t have a wife. Similarly, it seems he isn’t dating a partner either.

In contrast, Rebecca is married to her husband, Richard Malcolm, who serves as the general manager at Mirbeau Inn & Spa Skaneateles. As for her profession, she is a makeup artist based in the UK.

David Muir was raised together with his sister, step-siblings, and nieces and nephews

David and Rebecca were born in Syracuse, New York, in the United States, to their parents, Ronald Mills and Pat Mills. Although their parents went through a divorce during their early years, they continued to co-parent amicably.

David, born on November 8th, 1973, is 50 years old. In addition to his sister Rebecca, he has two younger step-siblings from his father’s second marriage. He was born into a Catholic family and spent his childhood on Onondaga Hill.

Raised alongside one older sibling, two younger step-siblings, six nieces, and three nephews, he developed an early interest in journalism. He regularly watched ABC News’ flagship program with his family, citing veteran anchor Peter Jennings as a significant influence.

Graduating from Onondaga Central Junior-Senior High School in May 1991, the journalist went on to attend Ithaca College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism with magna cum laude honors in May 1995.

During high school, he gained experience through an internship at WTVH-TV in Syracuse. Inspired by a college professor who recognized his potential as a TV newsman, he furthered his education with a semester at the Institute on Political Journalism at Georgetown University.
